Things started to get sticky for Cheese FC and Real Bollywood as they both got caught up with nasty tackles. A sending off for James Baccarela for Real Bollywood left them furious. But a wise decision from the referee helped avoid any further explosion on the pitch. McGovern (2) and Paul (1) scoring for Real Bollywood but Skinner (1), Adam L (3), Dilly (2), Sam (2) and Leggett (1) had the advantage with a player off. A sticky win for Cheese FC.

IMS FC 5-2 After Shock (Match Rating 9/10)
A jammy start for both sides with the ball bouncing everywhere, but things started to get interesting when Manny (1) placed one in for IMS FC. After Shock furious, got to grips and sensational end-to-end action from both teams. Good clean football from both teams. Daz H (2) scoring for After Shock, but that wasn't enough to stop IMS FC, Rob M (2) and S H (2) took the win with a last minute penalty. Overall a good clean game of football from both sides.

The Heat 17-4 Young Gunz (Match Rating 9/10)
A shocking start for The Heat with a goal from Jahedur (1) from the edge of the box sliding it past the keeper, Nick, giving the upper-hand for Young Gunz. Leaving Nick furious, a push from the captain and they unleashed The Heat with 16 blazing goals coming from Carl (1), Brian D (2), Melvin (7), Lee (5), Sir (1) and an own goal helped The Heat secure a very easy victory. Young Gunz left in ashes.

Galactico 2-5 Ooouse Utd (Match Rating 9/10)
A good match for both teams, end-to-end action from both sides. Galacticos should've scored more, but took less of the chances. Ooouse with an outstanding performance and taking the win. Goals coming from Julio (1), Richie W (2), James D (1) and John (1) for Ooouse Utd. Jordan (2) scoring for Galacticos but not quite enough. Overall a really good fast paced match.

Ooouse Utd 7-3 KA-Boom (Match Rating 9/10)
Again, an outstanding performance from Ooouse Utd, this time with two extra goals coming from, Jordan J (1), Aaron (3) and John (3). KA-Boom trailing behind, really should've made more of the chances, Goals from Louis A (1) and Kieron H (2).

Spartak Supernova A 6-1 KA-Boom (Match Rating 9/10)
With half of the team injured for Spartak Supernova A, they still managed to play outstanding and bag the victory against KA-Boom. As a duty upon humanity, Soccer League UK in collaboration with Bedford Sports & Hockey Centre have arranged for a ‘Haiti Charity Appeal’ on Thursday 4th March 2010.

All matches played on the night will be friendly games with all the match fees donated to the British Red Cross. Matches will be charged at the normal fee of £21, but we encourage extra donations to be made by everyone as every penny will help, so please donate generously.

Appalling weather conditions with the rain just started heavily as the whistle blew for the first games. All teams anxiously waiting in the stiff breeze to get a piece of their opponents. A fine football night even if the weather wasn't on the teams side. Here's what we've had:

Premier Division - Pitch 1

Match of the night: Red Eagles Finance 1-2 Hurricane FC (Match Rating: 10/10)
After having lost their first game, Hurricanes were furious. Coming back with a vengance, this time taking more shots of the chances they had. Brothers of destruction, Daniel Gloss (1) and Ben Gloss (1) took the victory away from Red Eagle Finance, Chris (1) scoring the only one. Both teams played exceptionally fine football but the better team on the night were Hurricane FC.

Ooouse Utd 2-4 Magnificent 7 (Match Rating: 10/10)
After a glorious night from Magnificent 7, they had some more to give. Another sweet victory kept the boys chuffed. Kev (1), Dave B (2) and Matt (1) with the goals. Ooouse picked their chances unlike Magnificent 7, G (1) and James (1) bagging the only ones for Ooouse Utd.

Hurricane 0-1 Kempston Old Boys (Match Rating: 10/10)
The Kempston Old Boys tammed the Hurricane swiftly with a painful goal from Hurricane leaving them furious. Matt S (1) scoring the only one for the Kempston Old Boys, but that was more than enought to keep them going. Kempston Old Boys didn't have many chances but made the most of what they had. Hurricane with many shots on goal only to be stopped by fine saves.

Bedford Rapids 0-2 Spartak Supernova B (Match Rating: 8/10)
A win and a loss for Spartak Supernova B. Chris (2) scored two beauties. Bedford Rapids players pushed themselves taking every chance they got at the goal, But the keepr took some fine saves and kept them in the game. A clean sheet for Luca, but not for too long.

Queens Park Youth 1-1 Robinson Pool (Match Rating: 7/10)
A high tempo game, Robinson Pool played outstanding against the more pacier side Queens Park Youth. Queens Park Youth with an outstanding performance, speed was on their side, Imran (1) helping himself to well set up goal. Sam playin well in the defence keeping their Queens Park Youth strickers busy, Paddy (1) knocked in a goal with a roar from Robinson Pool. A fair played match by both sides.

Division 2 - Pitch 2

Match of the night: Smokin 'Aces 0-1 Odd Balls Utd (Match Rating: 10/10)
A not so good night for Smokin' Aces as they faced two losses for the night. Jason (1) brawled one in for Odd Balls. Smokin' Aces didn't put their heads down as tehy fought back taking every chance at goal they had, but failed to score.

MTD Merrymen 1-1 1 FC Lads (Match Rating: 9/10)
The keeper of MTD Merrymen, Jeff, didn't put his head down after a early goal from Neil (1). A nice strike floating in the air, Jeff saved it but it went high up and down in the goal. Tom (1) came back quickly for MTD Merrymen. A good and fair contested match between both teams.

QP Real 3-0 Millbrook Utd (Match Rating: 9/10)
The dynamic duo have done it again, Ayaz (2) with his quick feet was hassling the Millbrook Utd defence, Zoby (1) pot one along side him. Millbrook didn't have many chances but gave a good perfomance against the more pacier side.

Smokin 'Aces 0-4 Unathletico Madrid (Match Rating: 9/10)
It's not been a good night for Smokin' Aces, two games and two losses. Jack (2), Ashley (1), Danny (1) fought a hard game against the Smokin' Aces defence as they played well to not lose another match. The opponents kept having goals and scored very fine goals, Smokin' Aces looked edgey after their dismal performance.

Box End (St Crusaders) 2-0 Inter Me Nan (Match Rating: 9/10)
And own goal from Inter Me Nan and a goal from Chris (1) for Box End gave a good lead. Inter Me Nan took their few chances they had, but not enough to score, overall a fair match and a well deserved three points by the Crusaders.

Inter Me Nan 4-0 Spartak Supernova A (Match Rating: 9/10)
After having lost their first match, Inter Me Nan hoped to get some goals in, this time they were up against the legendary Spartak Supernova's. Hardley Athletic 2-0 Red Star (Match Rating: 9/10)
A fine performance from Hardley Athletic against their opponents. Pushing it to the limit, Hardley Athletic knew they could make a victory out of their opponents. Taking every chance they could seize, Matt R (2) sealed the victory for Hardley Athletic. Red Star played fine, with not many chances but attempted on all of them, but just failing to score. Overall a well played match by both team, Red Star should've scored, but Hardley Athletic deserved the three points.

Cheese FC 0-1 1 FC Lads (Match Rating: 9/10)
Two games and two victories for the 1 FC Lads, Antonio (1) bagging in a sensational goal, leaving Cheese FC goal keeper stunned. Cheese FC fought back but just couldn't get grips enough to score a few. Overall 1 FC Lads played a better game than Cheese FC as they were pumped up from their first victory.

Division 3 - Pitch 3/Pitch 4

Match of the night 1: Sporting Clapham 2-1 KPR (Match Rating: 10/10)
A tough game for both team. KPR grappling for the victory with Sporting Clapham after Liam R (1) scored for KPR and Matt A (1) snapped back for Clapham, Stevie Y (1) with a smashing goal to take the lead and seal of the goals. A sweet victory for Sporting Clapham.

Match of the night 2: IMS FC 1-2 Houghton Conquest (Match Rating: 10/10)
It was a close game start to finish considering the rain falling down hard. Houghton Conquest are a strong side taking the lead but IMS FC soon equalised making it one a piece. A lucky late second goal from Houghton Conquest took the lead again just before the end of first half. Second half remained a 2-1 victory to Houghton Conquest where both sides make some cracking shots but unlucky where both keepers were put to there pace. Maybe the weather had something to do with but better luck next time IMS FC.

Bed Med 2-0 Embankment (Match Rating: 9/10)
A terrific performance from Bed Med, taking every chance they had on goal, and Embankment coming back defending well but Ashley B (1) and Marcus P (1) kept Bed Med in the game. Embankment didn't create many chances but overall played fine football, Bed Med had several chances and took them well. Overall a really good game.

Real Deal 4-1 Embankment (Match Rating: 10/10)
Kelly M (4) sealing the deal with Embankment for a 4-1 victory. Peter (1) scored the only one for Embankment. Can Kelly keep the record up to be the top goal scorer of the season, or will he be beaten to it by another goal scoring machine? Embankment played well, this time they created a lot more chances but not managing to pot them in. Real Deal played well, overall a brilliant game.

KPR 3-1 Tizer Chiefs FC (Match Rating: 9/10)
First match of the night for KPR looking good on the pitch and score-card. Richie A (1), Liam R (1) and Captain, Ben H (1) scored some stunners. Tizer Chiefs didn't put their heads down and battled it out well againt their opponents, giving everything they had. Greg (1) with the only one for Tizer Cheif, KPR sealed the victory. A good start for KPR.

Safety Third 2-0 Spartak Supernova B (Match Rating: 9/10)
This match was played in appalling conditions with heavy rain being driven horizontally across the pitch by a stiff breeze. A goal in each half from Jasper secured all three points for Safety. Spartak were somewhat lacklustre and never seemed to get into their counter attacking game throughout. Indeed the score could have been embarrassing for Spartak had their Keeper not pulled off a number of fine saves. Safety's keeper on the other hand had just the one save to make from a rare shot on target. Spartak virtually surrendered the midfield from the start allowing Safety to play a neat passing game that worked well in the slippery conditions. The referee did his job well and although the game had a number of fouls most were caused by the conditions underfoot and he was sharp enough to recognise. A decent game considering the conditions.

AS Viola 0-3 Safety Third (Match Rating: 9/10)
Hat-trick hero John (3) with the thriller left the younger side a bit dazed. A few dazzling saves for AS Viola goal keeper but not enough to keep the rest out. Overall, Safety Third walked all over their opponents, AS Viola put their heads down, which left John (3) to do the damage. Let's hope AS Viola can come back with a vengance.
